Enjoy a perfect mix of calm water and whitewater. The float from Carbondale to Glenwood Springs offers incredible views of 13,000 ft. Mount Sopris, interesting geology, possible sightings of bald eagles and other wildlife, and fun class II/III whitewater.

This Class II-III paddle provides a thrill or twoâ€”like the infamous cemetery rapidâ€”but thereâ€™s little chance of bouncing out of your raft. (And if you do, itâ€™s usually nothing more than a refreshing dunk and no-big-deal hoist back into the raft.) Meander through gentle Class II and low Class III rapids, and calm, relaxing pools. Our guide, Skylar, was great. She provided great tips and points of interest, like blue herring nests, which we saw several birds, and eagles nests, and we saw a young eagle too!

We had an incredible experience white water rafting!! Our tour guide Dylan was fun, friendly, and especially skilled! We really had an AWESOME TIME!! We def recommend having Dylan as a guide!

All of the guides were informative and very funny and friendly. Nate was especially entertaining. The group of teenagers we took recommend this group. This is an easy enjoyable float down the river.

We enjoyed our day with nate. He did a great job laying out instructions and safety procedures. Very enjoyable on the boat and helped entertain our kids. Roaring fork might be a little too calm for some may do shoshone next time

We took our four children ages 9, 8, 6, and 3. Everyone loved it! It was fun but still safe for the little ones. Our guide was excellent and knew what he was doing. The older kids loved paddling and the little ones loved the bumps. We saw four bald eagles, ducks, and a variety of cool birds. Definitely recommend.

We booked an early season half day rafting trip on the roaring fork. We had a blast and our guide was super professional and extremely knowledgable about Glenwood Canyon and its history. We will be coming back for more ! Highly recommend !

Our adventure this summer was definitely the highlight of our COVID adventures this year. The company took every precaution to prevent us from getting sick. Josh was a lot of fun on the river. He's very knowledgeable of the area and has a lot of really dumb dad jokes i was able to use later. Highly recommended.

This rafting trip was absolutely fantastic! The crew is fun and playful but extremely safety oriented! This is definitely one of the better companies to go rafting with in the Glenwood Springs area. It seemed like other companies were rushing people down the river, however, GAC makes sure you can enjoy the scenery, have time to practice your rowing skills, and also get the time to chat and meet new people. They are family oriented too. There were families with small children on other boats who looked like they were having the time of their lives! Would HIGHLY reccomend booking a trip with these fabulous guides! John was our guide and he was FANTASTIC! Very knowledgeable and extremely funny.
