  We took the bioluminescent on Oct 24th. It was an amazing experience and Ian was great guide who obviously enjoys sharing both his knowledge and love of the sights and sounds of the night time Banana Rive Lagoon. The entire tour was excellently managed from ease of booking through our return to shore. It was the perfect start to our Florida vacation!

  We read the reviews of multiple places and decided to try Fins Expeditions. I tried to book online for sunset tour because I thought I could get the best of both worlds. See the bioluminescence and the mangroves, but I couldn't book the larger kayaks online so I called. Glad I did. Owner told me the best way to see the bioluminescence is the night tour so I booked it. 3 large kayaks for me, my 14 yr old son and 16 yr old daughter and a tandem kayak for my wife and 10yr old son. I was the noob and everybody else has kayaked before. Jessica was our guide and she was awesome. My kids were all skeptical of the experience at first and didn't want to go. It was a clear sky and almost a full moon. Night ideal for the bioluminescence, but Jessica was a pro and new where to go for the best experience to see it. She was extremely informative and we had a great time splashing the water and experimenting to see the glowing water. Also, using our nets to catch jellyfish was great. My kids caught several and it was a great experience. What topped this off was we saw 2 dolphins up close and personal. My daughter was a little freaked out when something large swam under her kayak, but once they breached the water and we figured out that they were dolphins, it was the greatest highlight of the night. They swam around us for about 10 minutes coming up close enough to almost touch at times. It did end up drizzling on us as we were heading back, but none of us minded. We were riding the high of seeing 2 dolphins. When my kids got back in our car, they were giddy with excitement of the tour. I'm sure every experience is different, but we had a great time.

  Ian was our guide. He did an excellent job showing us the bioluminescence plankton, fish and jellyfish. It was the night after a full moon so it was not super dark but we still were able to see the bioluminescence and Ian planned the trip well to take us to dark coves by trees where we could see the fish and plankton better. He went out of his way to give us a great tour. It was an awesome experience! Thanks Ian! Deb, Dale, Dee and Jim

  Our guide Jess was amazing! The unique and incredible sites of the lagoon and the glow in the dark water will always be great memories for our family!

  Amazing! Your and guide were both excellent, was truly an amazing experience, my 11 yr old and 20 yr old both want to add this every Florida trip, highly recommend

  Our bioluminescent tour with Ian was amazing. We saw dolphins as soon as we started out of the boat ramp and again as we were headed back in. The bioluminescence was super bright and the guide took us to the best spots to see fish moving in the water. He explained and educated us well on the bioluminescence as well as the surrounding area. Definitely will be using this guide again if we are ever back in the area!!

  Wow what an experience! I had the opportunity of doing the bioluminescence Kayak Tour, and is simply something I would never forget! Our guide was very nice and helpful! He took us to the best spots! And included but spray and water bottles! Thank you For this amazing experience!

  Every year I look forward to taking a bioluminescent tour, this year I found a great company, great location. I will definitely be saving Fin Expeditions as a tour company to use again!! From the person on the phone to the tour guide, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. They keep the tour groups small enough that you're not constantly bumping into everyone else, and we were encouraged to spread out to a reasonable distance. Despite the beautiful full moon, our guide, Jess, found some shaded areas where the bioluminescence was amazing!! I highly recommend this tour, and I look forward to booking a daytime tour, once the weather cools off a bit. Thank you so much for a great evening!!! :)

  What a great night. We are local and have wanted to do this for several years. Had Jessie as our guide. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. So glad we were able to fit it in this summer. ***use the bug spray*** it is essential to enjoy your night.
